"Peaceful Prince" has been a labor of love for almost the last year. I have worked on his sweet, sleeping face, and textured the fur all around him, piece by piece. I am so happy to offer prints of this painting to you. Now you are able to have a portion of Christmas in your home, without the overwhelming religious undertones of a traditional nativity scene. The beautiful artwork can be displayed all year, or just at Christmas time.
My favorite part of this painting is the replacement of the straw with fur. Laying a baby on straw would not be the most pleasant thing, but putting a new baby on a bed of fur makes so much more sense. Allowing the Prince of Peace to snuggle up to soft fur makes this scene that much more sweet and gentle.
